You're Feeling Strong Enough to Leave, Now What?
This course is for women who are in a relationship with a narcissist (or someone who has the traits and behaviours of one) and are at level 5 of the awakening scale, CONVICTION.
You have reached the point of no return, and you know you need to leave, but where should you begin?
This course answers the questions:
What should I do BEFORE I tell him you want a divorce?
What is the best way to tell him it’s over?
What if I can’t physically leave right away but know I am leaving the relationship?
What things do I need to get in order right away?
How do I leave with the least amount of drama while protecting myself and children?
How do I prepare a safety plan if I am afraid of my spouses reaction?
The process of this course will walk you through the following:
- When You’ve Decided to Leave – planning your next steps and mapping out your exit plan
- Create Your Exit Strategy – use this as your planning map, including everything you need to plan ahead for NOW even if you can’t leave right away
- How to Cope in The Meantime – once you know he is not going to change and you know you need to leave, how to cope with this awkward in-between stage of knowing you are leaving but still having to live with him in the same house in the meantime, while you take action toward your exit plan. How to process the grief and emotions that come up through this process.
- How to have an in-house separation (optional) if you want to end the relationship but need to live together until you get things sorted out with your living situation- or other factors that are stopping you from physically separating at this time -you may want to use this strategy to get the space you need and draw a line in the sand
- Detailed checklists for how to plan ahead and see around corners (they behave so erratically and unpredictably once you tell them it’s over, you MUST be prepared)
- How to prepare legally and financially before you pay a lawyer: before you tell him you want a divorce and before you retain the lawyer. Avoid the biggest mistakes women make with hiring a lawyer too soon, or too late
- Preparing a Safety Plan – learn the dangers and indicators your spouse could become physically violent and prepare ahead of time for a safe exit
A lawyer can only help you with the legal stuff, they cannot arm you with all of what I have included here. Having everything I teach you in this course in place will save you time and expensive legal fees because you are doing this leg work, and you will know what to tell your lawyer you want, and will have a sense of self-confidence because you are 10 steps ahead!
Think of this as your path to having an empowered plan to move forward.
My biggest piece of advice: Don’t leave without a plan, and get expert guidance for every area of your strategy planning.
In this course I walk you through who to add to your empowered divorce team, and things to ask legal professionals before you sign anything.
It will cost you in time, sleepless nights, stress that impacts your health and potentially large amounts of money.
If you’re ready to start making your empowered exit plan, join the course.
